Boyer Learning Center specializes in teaching English Language Learners who receive individualized and small group direct instruction to develop English proficiency and to help them meet state ELA and ELD standards. The ELD program addresses the standards needed to obtain the student's next ELD level as determined by CELDT testing. In addition, those English learners who participate in a Spanish standards-based language arts core program receive reading and grammar support in Spanish. Spanish speaking tutors are currently on staff and additional bilingual tutors will be hired as needed.
